I bought this for $40 and still have doubts about it.

I got this from Discovery Channel Store. Initially I didn't like it too much, because it tickled me to no end. The more I use it, though, the more I like it, but it is still FAR from being as good as the foot/calf massagers you'll find at places like the sharper image.

I'd pay 30 dollars for this, but not 40, and definitely not 80.

It kneads and pokes, and rolls, but the speed is too fast (eventhough there are two speed settings on mine) and I wish the motions can be more realistic.

No real complaints, though, aside from the fact that the rollers feel hard and edgy, and the speed is too fast. The product would be much better if it's slowed down with larger movements.

It does an ok job of massaging your feet but not that great. And it really tickled me at first until I got used to it. So if you are ticklish, beware!

The forward and reverse don't seem to make much of a difference, that I could tell. If it had a vibrating massage it would be a lot better than just the rollers.

I will say, I think, the machine is a little noisy, maybe this is standard of foot massagers, I'm not sure, but it can become distracting.

As a restaurant server, my feet hurt so bad from working night after night! I was hoping the Relaxor would do the job and it was just what the doctor ordered! The little reflexology nodes are the best, they get a good deep tissue effect, and it's heavenly when you roll your feet around on them to hit all the little spots. The heat is also a nice added touch. I've also hung it on the back or a chair for a back massage and that was great too - just be careful don't lean back into it until you've got it where you need it. It's also so nice that I sometimes just rub my feet over it when it's off for a light massage. It is a litle loud, and it does vibrate a lot, but (HELLO) all massagers do. The only other caveat is to wear socks, it's a little overwhelming on bare feet.

I work at my desk 75% of my day. It keeps my feet nice and warm. For twenty bucks how can you go wrong.

The massager is lame, it just buzzes your feet to death.

I've had a few of these now and when used every day, they seem to die if you leave them on overnight. Make sure you turn it off daily. Maybe buy one of those plug timers to cut the power at 5pm or something.

REVISION Nov 9, 2005: I had this unit for about 20 days and it started to burn holes in the lining. Not only that, but it burned holes in my socks and I felt a singe on my feet a couple of times. Definitely HOT and not safe. It went back. Thanks Amazon for the 30 day return policy. NEW RATING: 0/5 stars.

This is an OK product - if you need to warm your feet up, go for it. However, the product is black and collects pet hair as quickly as your favorite pair of black pants. Massager is lame - but heating works pretty well...if you use one feature or the other you get much better results than trying to use both at the same time. Would be nice if they made this as booties, so you could actually move your legs and not have to sit in one position while using.

I bought this for my wife - she, as well as a number of others that have used it, describe it as "painful." But somehow I can't bring myself to return it. Not when the box comes with the following written on it:

1. Maintain - clean cumulated rubbish of human body

2. Prevent - prevent organ of human body from degenerate

3. Self-cure - the best assistant recovering medical treatment

4. Over come - chronic disease for encumber

5. Power- electronic magnetic function to nerve tissue

6. Vigorous and graceful - good way for lacing movement

The manual inside the box further describes the product...

How could I return this? Its got a "microcomputer" inside!!!

Directions instruct:

Warnings are clear and graphic....

This is only a small sample of what you will get. We have been entertained for days.... I'm sure if I repeated it here my review would be censored - yes it's that filthy (and yet fantastic)....

Purchased this product as a christmas gift for a friend, and she really did not like the way it felt to use it. Initially posted about that and my frustration with the vendor nor responding to multiple contacts. The vendor has since been in touch and indicated the lack of response was due to post-holiday time off. He gave me the info I needed to make the return and said they would refund with no restocking charge. The product is on its way to them and I await the final resolution, which I expect to be positive.

Well folks, this is my first foot massaging machine I've ever used and/or purchased. I work physical labor and so as you might assume my feet get worn. I reviewed the other ones and chose this one based on the rating/comments of others and the price. I wish I would have spent more, but that's just my curiosity to find out if the more expensive products work better. I must say the rolling more pressure point orientated parts of this massager work wonderful. I would have liked there to be something to hold my ankles in place so that I could relax my legs and feet more and not have to manually keep them stationed on the rollers, but it still gets the job done as well as I can imagine any other product doing so. There is a front bar where you can position your feet and it works ok. The middle part is made for you to stick one foot in at a time and sort of knead the outsides of your feet...but it's not so great. For one if you really get your foot in there it almost makes a sound like the machine will break, so I'm careful in that area. They should have made this center part adjustable, because besides the breaking part I mentioned if you don't position your foot exactly right the kneading might feel too tight for your foot, especially if you have wide feet considering that my feet arent very wide at all. The cloth that covers all the mechanical parts of it is decent though and it is a good feeling on my feet. I've only used barefoot on this, not with socks yet, because it has worked fine barefooted. At the end of the day, I'm glad I purchased this and I might even give it to someone as a gift if I knew they were in the market, at least it sure beats trying to give yourself a manual foot massage with your own hands cramped over and uncomfortable or paying for a massage therapist which I think would be expensive although I've never been. I've only used it on my feet btw, no other body parts as it states it could work with also...I would buy a seperate massager for other body parts like a Homedic handheld one that I have and works great for my back and legs and such and just leave this one to work on your feet. The instruction manual is funny because it's all written in broken english. I was suprised at that, but it has no affect on how the product works so it's not a big deal. Hope this review has helped somewhat, they certaintly help me when I'm looking into buying anything nowadays.

Love it! I've tried multiple massagers. Rolling massagers are by far the best! Vibrating or air compression massagers just don't give you that deep massage. And unless it has a program to constantly vary the massage, it can quickly become irritating/painful from the repetitive motion. Somehow, rolling massagers even if they're constant (like this one) don't become irritating.

This is by far the best one for the feet I've tried, especially for the soles of your feet, a bargain at this price! Even the expensive foot compression machines ($1000-2000+), while they do compress the calves of your legs, they only have "massage" air bumps for your soles, not rollers.

You can sit and put your feet on it or lie down. It also DOES work for the calves, shoulders, neck, back, etc. but it's best to lie down or lean back against it while lying on the floor/flat surface. The speed works fine, but I only use the slowest speed anyway because I like a deep massage. To get all the parts of your body, you do have to shift and move around a bit. But until they have a massager which does rollers for all parts of the body (and then it'd be $5000+), this is the best and affordable option!

The product works just fine, let me say that first. The speed dials up and down wonderfully and it feels great....however....

being one for aesthetically pleasing experiences, it almost embarrasses me to be giving this as a gift. The thing looks like a cheap childs' toy. The owners manual pictures are so blurry you can't even tell what they're trying to show you, and the words both on the box, and more importantly, the ENTIRE manual are SOOOO poorly translated from whatever language they were written inoriginally that I can barely make sense out of what's being said. To me, if a product costs as much as this one did, care should be taken by the manufacturer and/or distributor to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

I have never experience such unprofessional customer service in my life! And I've had a lot of bad customer service over my lifetime. The manual says "This device is not appropriate for women having their menstrual periods" and when I asked 3 times what this meant (women of menstrual age vs the menstruation portion of a woman's menstrual cycle), I got horrible unprofessional responses each time, none of which answered my question.

Do not purchase this product, the company is horrible!

I got this because I am on my feet all day long. The good points... its well built. The bad points...the Vibrating massage is not strong enough for any real help ,the acupressure roller is at a odd place making you put your foot at a weird angel that hurts more than helps, and the infrared heat is more like a red light than any real help. You are better off soaking in a nice hot bath tub.

I received the VibraSpa as a Christmas gift. It works ok. The vibration was mediocre and the infrared heat was barely heat at all. I would have been much happier with the bubble spa. I would recommend putting in very warm water because once the water hits unit, the water temp drops dramatically.

My only complaint is filling/emptying the water is a chore as
machine is extremely heavy when full. I would suggest placing a rubber mat or towel under it while using as water does kind of

I received this for Christmas, and I first used it without the attachments, so I felt it was nothing special. I also did not like the fact that it does not have a line to let you know how much water to put inside. When you turn the unit on and the bubbles start if it has too much water it makes a mess.

Then I got smart and decided to pull out the accessories. The pumice stone is nice. When you use your foot to apply pressure to the stone it starts to spin by itself, all of the attachments are motorized. The infrared light was relaxing. Overall I like the product, the manufacturer could make some improvements, lower the volume a little and it would have received 5 stars.

Don't buy this. It has no heat element. It says radiant heat, but the water gets cold. Seems it's just a red light on the top of the unit, not a heating element.The jacuzzi bubbles don't continue once you put your feet in. Also, I bought it from Dynadirect and they are giving me a hard time sending it back. Amazon has a satisfaction guarantee, dyndadirect does not. Buyer beware! There are better products out there for the same money!

My boyfriend (who is presently overseas), sent this product to me as a gift. There's nothing like having your own "mini foot spa" right in your home. The massage "spinners" take a little getting used to (which are quite ticklish at first), but over time...ummm, oh yeah! The only thing I disliked about the product is the infrared heat, which does not keep the water heated.

Overall review, if you can't have the man at home...keep the toy!

I think this product is good if you know you're getting a small bubble machine, not a personal foot massage. The bubbles aren't super strong and the "infrared light" doesn't put out heat. The spinners are kind of weird on your feet, not necessarily comforting but not bad either. But, for the price, and if you add some nice smelling lotion or conditioner to the water, I think the product is worth it if you intend to use it.

It is great. I liked it so much I got my mother in-law one for Christmas, she loves it. The remote is great it makes it so easy to really relax and kick back (not literally). The bubbles are strong and with the vibration it really sooths my tierd, stressed feet. My feet are softer then they have been in years, thanks to the little added feature of the spinners, they really work through rough dry skin. So lotion can really do it's job after my feet have spent 10mins in this baby. I love it, and really look forward to soaking my feet in it after a long day.

It vibrates the whole floor (she has wooden floors) and even if you put it on a rug, I could feel the vibration from the couch next to her! The ottoman itself is decent, but has no storage space because of the "massager". The massager doesn't do anything really, other than tickle your feet and make a loud noise. Don't bother with this ottoman, it's awful.

Unfortunately, i was not fully happy with this product. "Bubbler Footbath with Infrared Heat" doesn't really do much. I really didn't know the whole point of bubbler or the infrared heat. The water got cold after 10 minutes, and "Infrared heat" just tickles your foot. It's hard to pour the water out from the unit after you are done. I also thought the power cord was too short if i want to use it from the sofa that's far away from the power source. The spinners made even more mess after the "water" bath. the water would go all over my carpet. After using it once, i've made so much mess...

I gave the gift to my parents, who are working/standing 18+ a day, but they didn't use it after the first day. Kinda sad... It's inefficient and incovinent in my opinion. sorry...

I bought mine on sale and the first one I got was broken. Not only that but if you have to send it in to get covered by the warranty, you have to pay the shipping to and from homedics and at that point, you may as well just buy a new one. That's probably the point but I would highly recommend reading all that info before buying this product. If its on sale its not too bad of a foot bath, it gets the job done. I bought it because it can do both wet and dry massage and it does ok at that. If you have money for a better one definitely go for it.

I thought this would be a great product for my tired feet after running 10 miles a day. This thing is a joke. If you want hot water, better get out a pan and turn on your stove, because this thing does not keep water hot. The "Infrared Heater" amounts to a light bulb underneath a red plastic piece on top of the unit. I guess you're supposed to rest your feet on it, but if you do, you have to take your feet out of the water. If you fill up the unit with hot water, it will be cold after about 10 minutes. It does produce bubbles, but I found this to be anything but "rejuvenating." Basically it just tickled a bit. The "massage" part amounted to some spinning things on top of the unit, which again, you have to take your feet out of the water to use. This thing is also a pain to set up. It's heavy, takes up a lot of room, and water goes everywhere when you try to pour it out because there is no spout on the front of it for it to easily drain out.

Would it have been so hard to incorporate a water heater and foot massagers underneath the water directly below your feet?

If you can, find this product at a store before buying. Find a demo unit and try it using what you think would be your natural seating position (for me, I use it at my desk at home). That's because it is easily four inches too narrow. To use it properly you need to squeeze your legs together, which is very unnatural. Even then, I find that my feet can't naturally rest flat on the massage pads (I have to consciously force them to rest flat). Also, the angle of the unit is slightly too flat; five or so degrees of incline would be useful.

This unit replaces a Conair foot massager that served me well but died recently. It is lighter than the Conair and MUCH smaller (see above). The Conair offered features not found on the Homedics: variable-speed massaging and independent heat; the Homedics combines heat with massage, it can't be turned on by itself.

The Homedics does look cool with its blue and red lighting, but the size (actually, the lack thereof) marks it down

I also received this as a Christmas gift and have already sent it back. The bubbles are so loud it's hard to relax, the water dosent stay warm and the infrared dosent even get warm. The accupressure attachments were very cheaply made and did nothing when I tried them out. As you can tell I was very disapointed with this product. Don't waste your money.

I have not tried other products like this but I am happy with this product. I have to agree with another reviewer that the attachments are pretty much useless. They are a good idea but they don't stay attached very well and seem ackward to use. However, I don't think the attachments are necessary if you are looking for a good, basic way to relax. I also like the overall design of this particular product. It is lightweight and has a cord that is a decent length.

I received this as a gift for Christmas and it's now boxed up and ready to go back.

The vibrating massage works fine, but that's all that works. The bubbles work until the feet go in. Once the feet are in, no more bubbles. The heat will not keep warm water warm. The "infrared" heat is also barely warm. I felt like it did nothing at all.

It is certainly possible that this unit is defective, but for both the bubbles and heat to be defective says a lot about quality control.

I did not try the attachments.

While the attachments on this spa are pretty much worthless and the water agitation isn't as good as the Conair foot spa, this spa helped my feet the most. The massage feature was more powerful and soothing than the Conair and Remington Spas I've tried. The bubbles were better than on the Remington foot spa but this spa doesn't have water jets which are more effective and soothing. It maintained the heat as well as the Remington and better than the Conair. My sister,my son, and I all agreed that this spa helped soothe our feet the most.

The bubbles and massage felt good, but the heater didn't impress me. The air from the bubbles cools the water immediately and the heater couldn't recover the temperature. What I couldn't find in the instructions but learned after emailing the company is that you can't use bath salts or foaming foot soaks in it because of the bubble holes. Bottom line: heat and bath additives were too important to me. I returned the spa and will continue to use a large dishpan instead.

Ya'll this is supposed to be relaxing! I have been really looking forward to it! BUT... the bottom of the water bin isn't comfortable at all. It's too hard! The aereator slit in the bottom is ridged and very uncomfortable. That nobby node that is supposed to provide "massage" hurts too... They could have made the floor of the unit a bit more comfortable than it is. I am looking for another one after I write this... Nice looking product and I paid decent money for it, but it's going back where it came from...

I am pretty happy to get what comes my way. i dont mind when things go wrong BUT i needed this thing to work and it did not meet its promises. Bought it since my husband has foot neuropathy and ALWAYS freezing, tingly, aching feet. We bought it NEW, unopened, at a retail store. WARNING **************

THIS UNIT NEVER HEATED THE WATER NOR KEPT THE WARM WATER HOT THAT WE ADDED*******************

buyer beware, it does massage a little, whoooop de doo - hardly enough to call it a massage. Noise, to me it was not noisy so they score a point on that.

Attachments were rigid and not comfortable.

i would never use a Dr Scholls foot spa again, even if it were given to me.

I recieved this little gadget from my husband for our anniversary. I have a back problem which causes me to carry most of my weight on my heels so you can imagine how they feel after tromping around work and school all day. Also, I broke the 4th metatarsal which never healed properly.

This foot spa is wonderful. I start with tepid water and the spa has the water nice and toasty in a few minutes. The bubbles are really relaxing and just melt the pressure spots away. You can attatch different acupressure pads onto the bottom and of these, I like the roller pads the best. If you have 'tickly; feet, you will probebly prefer the non roller pads.

The infrared heat takes about 5 minutes to warm up, but once it does it's heavenly. In combination with the bubbles, vibration and rollers, it almost puts me to sleep.

Some people have said this device makes excessive noise. I don't think this is the case. Naturally, something with an air pump and which is supposed to vibrate is going to have some noise associated with it. I don't find it excessive. Most of the 'noise' is just the water bubbling anyway. The device splashes minimally onto it's storage compartment, but I didn't get any water on the floor. I guess it would depend on how vigorously you are using the roller pads. If you are sloshing your feet back and forth very quickly, than yes, you are going to spill some water.

Overall, I really like this appliance. It's not a replacement for a massage and a pedicure, but how could one really expect it to be. For the money, I think it's the best option and certainly does all it claims. My one caveat is that there is not enough room in the storage compartment for the in-water acupressure pads, only for the smaller top mounted ones. I wonder why they did that as it doesn't really make sense.

It is a little loud, but not too bad. It isn't a miracle machine, but it is very worth the money and I highly recommend it to anyone who is on their feet all day.

I got this for my husband and used it myself after 5 miles of walking created a blister on my toe. I added mineral salts and thought I was at the spa. The unit heated the water quickly and kept it at a comfortable temperature. There was some splashing, but the towel I placed under the unit, caught the errant water and served to dry my feet. I just wish the storage compartment would hold all the extra attachments.
